Celebrating the 4th!

Aaron's 4th of July outfit....so cute!
This year for the 4th, we spent the day with the Mansanarez family. Jesse, who has not been with us for a few months also got to come with us for the day and spend the 4th with the family.
First we went down to the lot in Payson to eat lunch with Jay and Tracy who were spending the day working on their house. It was good to hang out with them, and good for Jesse to see them. Their house is coming along nicely, most of the walls are up, and they are getting ready to put on the roof.
My sister Tara also came with us. She spend the morning with us, and Nate gave her his best sad face to convince her to come down to Payson and stay with us just a little bit more. I guess she just couldn't resist. :-)
After we left Payson we dropped Tara off, said hi to the Measom family for a bit, then went over to Jayson's (Nate's brother) house for a BBQ. Everyone was happy to see Jesse and we had a good time just being with each other and eating good food. I also got the greatest pictures of all of the grand kids on this side of the family. Everyone was dressed in festive 4th of July colors, and they all behaved just long enough to get a good picture. Which I guess you could say was a miracle.
After the BBQ we drove down to Fox Field in Provo. Nate's family always watched the fireworks from the stadium of fire at Fox Field. The whole Jarman family come ( that is Tara Mansanarez's side of the family). SO there are lots of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas etc... It is really fun to see everyone there too.
This year Nate played soccer while we were there with his brother and cousin, Jesse joined in as well. I played a rousing game of Zion's Check with Nick and his sister Emily, in which I was so close to winning...and Aaron just got some much love from everyone who wanted to hold him and love him. Then the fireworks started and we had a blast!
Then at the end of the night we were getting ready to go, when Jayson and Angie realized that the key to their van was with in her purse, and Tara already left to go home. So for one last adventure we all climbed into our Jeep and shoved in every lawn chair, and sack full of goodies and took them home. It was quite the adventure to say the least. Our Jeep was literally full to the top with people and just "stuff". But we made it work, we all made it home, and at about 1:00 am we went to bed!
