Loving Every Minute

    The past two and a half weeks have been our little bit of heaven. Every minute with our new little son Aaron has been everything we could ask for and more. Nate and I joke that it probably isn't very often when the parents are arguing about being the one who gets to get up  the middle of the night to take care of baby...but honestly that is us. Aaron has been the best baby too. Each little moment is cherished and photographed too. We love to take pictures of our little man.
   One of our first favorite moments was Aaron's first bath. Of course he didn't love his bath, but he loves it when we put his head under the facuet and let the water run over him. He just goes limp and sighs. So cute.

   We have been so blessed with love and support from all of our friends and family too. My wonderful mother, sisters, and best friends Amy and Kate, also helped through a a baby party. And boy was it a party! This was not ordinary baby shower. We wanted everyone who wanted to come and meet little Aaron. We have waited so long for this little gift  come to our home that we wanted to celebrate! Women, men, family, friends it was great. We had it at our church so we could have enough room. There was great food. My sister made delicious cupcakes, and Kate made some yummy treats, my other sisters and mother made great salads, and we had the best time sharing with all of our loved ones our little Aaron.

   So, that is our update. We spend as much time just loving and holding little Aaron. I love the way he makes cute little squeaky noises while he is sleeping. He loves to have his head rubbed when he is sleeping and makes a little sigh every time I do that. He will almost sneeze, but hold it in and then sigh. He has the most beautiful wide eyes, and we think that his eyes are going to be blue. He is just our little bit of heaven. He was worth every minute we waited for him!
