Ok, so I finally have time to post some pictures from our yearly summer celebration the SUMMERFEST! If you spend any time with me from the months of March-June you are most likely aware of the Orem Summerfest. It is one of my most favorite celebrations of the entire year!
This year was Aaron's first Summerfest. I know he just loved it....well he won't remember it, but still. It ended up being really windy this year, but that didn't stop us. On Saturday, Nate and I joined my dad, and siblings Kevin, Tara, Andrea, and Jenna eat dinner, watch the parade and enjoy the fireworks. Nate's favorite part of the Summerfest is eating from a both called the "Original Bamboo Hut." They make some yummy Hawaiian food. Nate use to eat this food all throughout high school, and during the Summerfest he wants all meals from the Bamboo Hut.
We walked down to the city center, ate good food, and did our best to not be blown away. Aaron got to see the sights, but stayed mostly in the stroller. It was just too windy. After dinner we went to the parade. Even with the wind we all had fun. Angie and her kids joined us too. It was a party. So if you are ever in Orem for the 2nd weekend in June, know that you have an invite to our favorite summer party the Summerfest!
