This year for Halloween it took me a while to figure out what exactly we wanted to dress us as. Life was very busy for us at the end of October with meetings that we had to do for Jesse, meetings with our case worker for the adoptions, and of course my little sister Tara's wedding. But with some brilliance on Nate's part we came up with a good costume for Aaron. COSMO!
Doesn't he look so cute? We just bought a lion costume at the store, put on a BYU shirt and Ta Da! Cosmo! I think it was absolutely adorable! Nate and I just threw on our BYU gear, and together we made a BYU fan club for Halloween. This year for Halloween we also had fun carving pumpkins too. I love carving pumpkins. There are no very many things that involve some sort of craftiness that I really get in to, but carving pumpkins in one of them. This year my pumpkins was a tree with our names around the tree as well as Aaron's birth parents names. It was fun.
Nate's pumpkin was a spooky haunted house that took some time for him to carve out as well. For Aaron's pumpkin we made it simple. We just carved out a bat man symbol!
On Halloween night we actually stayed home. It was nice to just hand out candy, see all of our little neighbor hood kids come dressed up, and relax inside. And of course we had to take a trip down to Nate's grandparent's home for the annual Halloween doughnut. Nate's grandma always makes homemade doughnuts on Halloween and they are delicious!
