The last month for us here in the Mansanarez home has been pretty crazy! We have had spring break, lots of lacrosse, and Nate is just getting into his finals at school. April has kept us busy, but it has been a good month.
At the beginning of the month we had a couple of birthdays to celebrate. My sisters Jen and Andrea both had birthdays. So all of us sisters (Brenda, Andrea, Jenna, Jen, and myself) went up to eat in Salt Lake. We were to a yummy bakery/cafe and ate some good food. It was fun to get away and just be with the girls (plus Kyson, Cooper, and Bronson :) )

After we ate lunch we went and walked around the temple at Bronson's request. He was so cute. He loved looking at all of the flowers and ponds. We also took him into the visitor center to see the statue of Christ. It was a good day.
Jesse has been playing a lot of lacrosse, but it seems that we never know when the games are until one hour before they happen. For whatever reason this year things have been a little out of sorts with the lacrosse team, but he likes to play. Unfortunately his team isn't that good this year. They haven't won a game yet, but they still go out there and play hard.
Also this month our friend Marisol was baptized. It was really neat to be there with her through the discussions and as she was baptized. Nate was able to help assist in the confirmation. I love watching and feeling the spirit change people's lives. It was really neat. Marisol and I have also been teaching each other how to make different food. She taught me how to make Sopas, and delicious Mexican food, and I taught her how to make lasagna. Mari makes amazing Mexican food. I can't wait for what she will teach me next.

Over Spring break my sisters and I had another girls weekend. This time we went up to mid way. We had a great time playing "girl talk", dance with a game on Andrea's Wii, shopping at the outlets, and just hanging out. It was nice that everyone was able to be there. I love getting together with the girls and just hang out. Like my good friend Chelsey says, "Girls need have their girl time."
On the 18th we had a birthday party for Cooper. He turned one year old this year. Andrea made a cute little cake just for Cooper, and boy did that kid love it!

We all knew he would not be shy about eating it, but the kid just dug in! He was nothing like his big brother Bronson who would barely touch his cake. Cooper totally dug his hands into the cake and even bent over and stuck his face into the cake. We all knew it would be a show. Cooper sure loved his cake!
This year for Easter we hung out a little bit here at our house. We dyed eggs with Bronson, Jen, Tim, Brenda, and Andrea, and then we have an egg hunt for Bronson in the back yard. Of course right as we got all the eggs hidden it started to rain/sprinkle outside. It didn't last for too long though, and we were able to have a good hunt. Bronson LOVED finding eggs. He got so excited about it this year too.
On Easter we were able to go over to Nate's brother's house Jayson, and hang out with his siblings there and have a BBQ. That was a lot of fun too. Our little niece Violet had her casts off her legs from her surgeries and she was so cute crawling around and and loving being more mobile. She has the cutest little face! We all had a good time blowing bubbles eating, and just hanging out.
So there is our month. We have been really blessed with good friends, and good family. I am grateful that we get to spend so much time with them too. Now we are looking forward to planting out garden and starting the summer. Hopefully we can get the weather to cooperate with us so that we can finally plant our tomatoes. Bring on the sun!
